Taking inspiration from the study of dendrochronology, Cambium is a floor lamp with an acrylic, multi diffuser system designed to emit a soft, yet complex combination of light, glow, reflection and shadow. The five layers are shaped to represent the growth rings of a tree and the Oak shaft was chosen out of respect for the material which inspired. Wood, acrylic and steel come together to form a silhouette reminiscent of a tree. Rows of stationary can be placed in any configuration, order or pattern within the frame and are securely held upright within the clever supporting channels. The face is designed to promote the act of saving and the cork stopper allows you to save by the handful. When hung on the wall his arms become a coat hook, and when it comes time to cash in they allow the contents to be easily tipped out.

The base has been styled to resemble the floats of a pontoon plane, and have been carefully engineered to give a smooth and controlled rocking motion.
